Blue Rhythm Band Since 1985, Blue Rhythm has been delivering the goods. Bringing together the experience and talents of Guitarist Jim Henry, Bassist Russ Nardi and original Drummer Paul Allen, a varied and powerful sound was developed and refined. During the band’s history, other musicians were added on occasion but the core of the band remained intact. Paul left in 2003 to devote more time to his family and powerhouse drummer Dave Williams joined the trio. Now Jim, Russ and Dave have taken their music to a new level. Displaying outstanding musicianship, style and energy, Blue Rhythm has a rare ability to energize an event and everyone involved. Performing classic rock, traditional and modern blues, Blue Rhythm grabs a crowd’s attention and literally forces them to a dance floor. Past venues include The Hilton in Troy, Roger's Roost, Indianwood Golf & Country Club, The Wooden Eagle in Lake Orion, and Metamora’s White Horse Inn – the list goes on and on. Long Black Sedan Long Black Sedan was formed in mid-2001 when guitarists Dylan Dunbar and Joe Nestico called upon drummer Jack Schneider to form a heavy, rock influenced blues-based band. After taking a long hiatus following the departure from the band the Soul Searchers in 2000, Dylan and Joe needed to brake away form the Detroit blues scene. Both Dylan and Joe became lost in inspiration and soul with playing traditional blues. The entire band will quote that the blues is where is all comes from but it needs to go to the next level. The band first appeared at the 2001 HeatStock festival playing for a crowd that did not seem ready for the new sound that was developing. Long Black Sedan was originally made up of Dylan, Joe, Jack and Tokashi Ieo on bass. Tokashi later left and was replaced buy original Soul Searchers' bassist Jeremy Grenier. Since Jeremy's arrival, the band perfected the sound they possess today. He ended up being the missing piece of puzzle which tied all loose ends in the band.Long Black Sedan is all about loud, thick guitars, hotrod’s, outlaws and juke joints. They blend an unusual mix of Johnny Cash, Southern Rock, Greaser Blues and Black Sabbath. All four band members in this band are like family, rather than just four musicians that got together mainly to make a buck. Together, they have developed a distinct sound and attitude, with an aspiration to match. An aspiration to be one of the most original Hard and Heavy guitar bands to have ever come out of Detroit!
