The Phenomenauts are a high-octane, pop-rock band from the San Francisco Bay area. Formed in the year 2000, this retro, sci-fi, outerspace themed four piece is quickly becoming a crowd favorite. Their wild stage show, sing-along hooks, and pure, guitar driven space rock have landed the Phenomenauts in some of the country’s best venues. Aside from their exhilarating live shows, the Phenomenauts are infamous for their “commando” style street performances. “Commando” shows put the Phenomenauts on the streets, playing outside of festivals , venues, and clubs, ambushig audiences as they pile out. With their debut album, “Rockets and Robots”, the Phenomenauts are rapidly gaining popularity due to a groundswell of regional and national media reviews as well as solid college and internet radio airplay in addition to, spins at some daring commercial radio outlets.
